Most people think that you need to dry clean everything silk, but think about this, silk bedding and sleepwear has been around for more than 5,000 years Way before dry cleaning!

Caring for Your 100% Mulberry Silk Bedding, Hair Bonnets, Pillow Cases, Accessories and Sleepwear is very important and here are some tips on how to do so.

Your 100% Mulberry Silk Bedding, Hair Bonnets, Pillow Cases, Accessories and Sleepwear can be washed in most modern washing machines especially front-loading style models that have a “Hand Wash”, “Delicates” or even “Silk” settings on some machines. These settings are perfect for your Luxurious Fey’ Kare silk sheets’ care. Below are few tips for your Silk Bedding, accessories and sleepwear care.

Tips for your Fey’Kare 100% Mulberry Silk Care to make it last

1. Always Wash your 100% Mulberry Silk Bedding, Hair Bonnets, Pillow Cases, Accessories and Sleepwear separately. Do not mix them with other Fabrics.

2. Make sure you give your silk sheets the room they need to get cleaned: Wash them on their own, without any other items. Also Wash your 100% Mulberry Silk Sleepwear separately.

3. Keep the temperature cool (30° Celsius/85° Fahrenheit, or lower) while washing your 100% Mulberry Silk Bedding, Hair Bonnets, Pillow Cases, Accessories and Sleepwear. If the water is too hot it’ll destroy the fabric.

4. Make sure to use a mild detergent to wash your 100% Mulberry silk Silk Bedding, Hair Bonnets, Pillow Cases, Accessories and Sleepwear. This is very important

5. Avoid drying your 100% Mulberry Silk Bedding, Hair Bonnets, Pillow Cases, Accessories and Sleepwear on bright sunlight this may cause the colours to shade It’s best to hang dry them inside away from the sunlight or on a cloudy day outside

6. To machine dry your 100% Mulberry Silk Bedding, Hair Bonnets, Pillow Cases, Accessories and Sleepwear, Simply use your dryer’s lowest temperature setting or even better, set it to “air.” and make sure you take them out before they are completely dry and hang-dry them to completely dry them. Some dryers have a silk setting as well.

7. Don’t worry about any wrinkles you may see on your 100% Mulberry Silk Bedding, Hair Bonnets, Pillow Cases, Accessories and Sleepwear, after you put your 100% Mulberry silk sheets back on the bed they will smooth out. You can also fold your sheets, pillowcases and duvet covers and place them in your linen closet under the weight of towels.

    I love my Fey’Kare bonnet and pillowcases. I hate the fact that they’re always sold out of the smaller size online. I was referred to 2 different stylists to get the smaller size for my niece but their prices are 3 times higher than the website. I wish the company would set the price for resellers. For 2 years now, I’ve been patiently waiting because my niece needs this bonnet. The other brands have been disappointing. 3 years now with my bonnet and my Locs love it. Best decision ever.     I bought this bonnet 2 years ago from my sister’s stylist in Atlanta. My daughter just started her Locs journey and I wanted to gift her the bonnet. The prices on the website are better than the price from the stylist but still worth every dime. What stood out to me and I had to come and write a review is the customer service. About an hour after placing my order I got an email and text from feykare asking me if I was referred by someone because I didn’t use a code. I got scared thinking it’s a scam. I contacted my sister to ask if her stylist knows anything about the code and I was given a code from her. I got 30% off on top of the amazing price already listed online. I don’t know if any company that will message you because you forgot to enter a discount code. This shows that this brand is full of integrity .     Never in my curly life had I thought that a simple bonnet would help me save time, money and help my curls. Let me just say this, Attending CURLYCON has to be one of the best decisions I’ve ever made in my life because I got to meet the beautiful Fey who is the owner of feykare.     I just want to extend my gratitude and appreciation to the founder owner of this brand. Last year I moved from Chicago to Atlanta, I lost my only Versace silk scarf I had. I started using a bonnet from Amazon that did so much Damage to my hair and then my new stylist in Atlanta recommended me to get a Bonnet from Sephora or Ulta.     This has to be the best business I have ever dealt with and I’m so happy and proud to know it’s owned by a black woman. In December, I came across an amazing informative post in the Black Coalition group on Facebook . The post was about the dangers of Polyester Satin , which is mostly used in the black community. The owner Fey, was very open to so many questions I had for her and she was very kind and provided plenty information. Fey was offering the group a discount code but I really wanted to fully support this queen so I didn’t use the code. An hour after , I received a text message advising me about the code and giving options for an extra item I could get for the difference . Now this is customer service. I don’t even know how to start talking about the products, very luxurious bonnets and pillowcases. I spent so much money on bonnets in the past but none of them did what Fey’Kare bonnets did for my hair.     Unmatched products quality, Unmatched customer service, unmatched price point for the quality and product delivery. I have wavy hair and I love my silk bonnet. 3 months ago, I misplaced it and tried to order another but you’re still out of stock of small bonnets. Well I had a silk turban I spent 140$ on at Sephora and I’ve used it for 2 months, it’s nothing compared to these bonnets. Feykare bonnets stay on all night, I see a big difference in my hair when I use it, I now use less products and my morning refreshes are just amazing.     I came across your amazing brand through an educational post you made in the sisterlocs group. The products are of high quality and you offer them for an amazing price. I’m a loctician myself and I always advise my clients to use Mulberry Silk only. I just wish our fellow queens would understand that polyester satin is carcinogenic and a big polluter for the environment. Those cheap satin Bonnets and head ties are made with oil based polyester, acetate, nylon , highly concentrated formaldehyde and other dangerous chemicals which makes them very toxic. I had just installed my sisterlocs and I was struggling with itchy scalp and moisture. The person in the post swore by the feykare durag she was using. I started saving to get the durag and the bonnet because they were out of my budget. After contacting the brand owner, she was the sweetest person ever. not only she took her time to educate me on silk and it’s amazing benefits , when I told her I’m saving to get the products in a month or 2 , this woman offered to send me the products and I could pay later. WHAT??? I have never heard anything like this. She told me my satin durag was causing my itchy scalp and it may cause more damage.     In April a Canadian celebrity hairstylist Janet did an Instagram live and this brand was featured on her live. I’ve had bad experiences with silk brands, I spent 160$ on a Slip Pillowcase from Sephora and this thing ripped within 3 months .I saw a Facebook ad of another brand and the product they send you is not the same as they show on their ad. The Bonnet Janet Showed was so big , it got me excited because I have big hair. I had doubts because the price on the website were very low. I purchased a scrunchie and a pillowcase. I tested the scrunchie by burning and was shocked that actually this brand is authentic. This is the best silk brand I’ve ever seen and the best genuine silk products.
